)- Bookings will be made in strict order of receipt. A deposit of 50% of the total fee payable is required to secure the booking.
- Confirmation of Booking. This is by email. If you require a receipt/confirmation by post, please supply an SAE.
- Substitution of Activities. Whilst we will always aim to honour the Adventures selected, we reserve the right to offer substitute Adventures if an instructor is not available; there are adverse weather conditions; there is an insufficient adult ratio or the instructor feels that an alternative Adventure seems more appropriate for the group.
- Under 18s. Parental permission to undertake Adventures is required, and it is your responsibility, as the person making the booking, to ensure you have this.
- Medical Declaration. If you have identified a medical condition for an attendee, please ensure that a Medical Declaration has been completed and signed by the parent/guardian. (This will be supplied as part of the Booking process.) Please email this to us in advance and bring the signed copy with you.
- Supervision on site. Please ensure that you have sufficient adults accompanying your group for the Adventure/s selected as required on the Booking Form. Castle Quarry is a working Adventure Centre which includes a lake. There are no playground facilities. We do not allow unaccompanied young people on site so please ensure that the overall number of adults (over 18) present is sufficient to fulfil the adult/participant ratio AND to supervise any children not taking part. Adults cannot undertake both roles.
- Timings. Please aim to arrive no more than 10 minutes before the start of your booked session. Group transport not staying on site should aim to arrive back on site at the end of the booked time –please advise drivers accordingly. This will enable all groups using our Adventures to access and egress the site safely and facilitate the smooth throughput of groups throughout the day. Evening groups -please note that the site must be cleared immediately at the end of your booked session. The building and gates will then be locked.
- Transport. You/other drivers agree to conform to the notes on the Transport Survey issued with your Booking pack. Please complete and hand this in when you make your visit.
