The Training Division at Castle Quarry predates our Outdoor Adventures by over 20 years. Initially delivering First Aid courses only within the wider Bristol area, we have steadily expanded both the number of training courses available and our geographic area of delivery to include the Home Counties and North Wales. In April 2005 we won the contract to monitor the delivery of all 3 day First Aid at Work courses held throughout the UK on behalf of the Health & Safety Executive (HSE), which is why we ourselves no-longer offer this particular course.

In 1999 we identified the need for scout and guide leaders to receive minibus driver training (MiDAS) at below cost price, simply from the perspective of safety. This course is now available to schools and other youth groups at very competitive rates.

Our philosophy is to deliver quality cost effective training on a flexible basis. We aim to meet customers' needs whether that entails our working at weekends or delivering a course at the workplace rather than at Castle Quarry. In turn we are able to invest in supporting young people and their leaders in the local community.
